About the Blog
Available Light is a blog focusing on helping readers understand and wrestle with contemporary American culture and the issues that arise when we try to live in it as Christians. Rather than chasing the 24/7 news cycle with running commentary, the Available Light blog seeks to examine those habits of heart and mind that give rise to the swirl of daily events. To this end, the author strives to update the site 2 to 3 times a week with original content and useful links. The blog reflects the thinking and opinions of its author only, not those of his employers, associates or, even, many of his friends.
Comment Policy
Comments will be published, withheld or edited at the blog owner’s discretion. While good discussion of issues is welcome here, personal attacks are not. Hostile comments without an email address or identifying Web site will not be published. Do not post a comment you expect to remain private. Comment threads are for public discussion. Your private communication is encouraged, but please use email for it. Please know, however, that all emails are subject to publication as well unless you specifically request otherwise. Such requests will be honored unless your email requires a public response.
